What is the aim of this project?

Council is seeking expressions of interest from experienced local artists to design a new public artwork for Warragul.

The artwork will be displayed on the front of a modesty screen to a new public toilet block on Queen Street, Warragul.

The existing public toilet block on Queen Street will be relocated, and offers the opportunity to create a new public artwork as part of the project. 

Project timeline

The timeframe is short as this is a quick turn-around project.

About the site

The new toilet block will be located in a high-traffic area within Warragul, closer to the road and facing the street.

The toilet block will be installed with the added modesty screen at the front.

The style for the final toilet block will be decided by the community through consultation on Baw Baw Connect.
