To contact a Community Compliance Officer during and after hours, call 5624 2411. Calls after hours will be transferred to Council’s after-hours service.

Council collects contained dogs between 9am and 5pm on weekends and public holidays, and 8.30am to 6:00pm on weekdays.

If you require assistance after 6.00pm, please refer to the information below for jobs attended after hours:

Monday to Friday – 6:00PM-8:30AM following morning

  • Dog attacks, rushes, livestock on roads & Police assistance.

10:00AM-2:00PM Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays

  • Dog pickups, cat pickups from VETS ONLY, dog attacks, rushes, livestock on roads, Police assistance.

2:00PM-10:00AM (All other hours) on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays

  • Dog attacks, rushes, livestock on roads, Police assistance.

If you have lost a pet or found a pet, you can still report this after hours and a Community Compliance Officer will contact you during business hours.
