Notice of Proposed Sale of Land – Trafalgar Business Centre

Baw Baw Shire Council (Council) hereby gives notice under Section 114 of the Local Government Act 2020 (Act) and Council’s Community Engagement Policy of its intention to consider a proposal to sell its land located at 107 Princes Highway, Trafalgar VIC 3824, volume 5744 folio 638 & volume 6502 folio 317 (Land), subject to Council approval (STCA).

The proposal is that the boundary be realigned to ensure the path on the west is kept in the public domain as part of the road. The remaining land (approximately 3758 sq metres) is to be consolidated and sold as one lot at public auction, STCA (unless the land is passed in at auction and may then be sold by private treaty).

The community is invited to comment on this proposal.

Any person wishing to make a submission on this proposal must do so by Friday 31st May 2024.  All submissions will be considered in accordance with Council’s Community Engagement Policy.

Submissions should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, and can be hand delivered to Council’s office at 33 Young Street, Drouin, emailed to baw.baw@bawbawshire.vic.gov.au or posted to PO Box 304, Warragul VIC 3820.

Any person requesting to be heard in support of their written submission is entitled to be heard before Council (or a Committee established by Council for this purpose), or be represented by a person acting on their behalf and will be notified of the time and date of the hearing.
