Notice of Intention to Sell Land – Queen Street, Warragul
Baw Baw Shire Council (Council) gives notice under section 114(2)(a) of the Local Government Act 2020 (Act) that it proposes to sell the land contained in RES1 LP217081, RES2 LP212179 and Crown Road Reserve known as Queen Street Warragul VIC 3820 (generally as hatched in green on the plan below) to the adjoining land owner subject to;
- DEECA Consent
- Council Decision
- Appropriate rezone of the land
In accordance with the Local Government Act 2020 any person may make a submission on the above proposal before 5pm on the 28th January 2025. Any person wishing to be heard must indicate that within their submission.

Written submissions which meet the requirements of this notice will be considered in accordance with the above provisions. Any person requesting to be heard in support of their submission is entitled to be heard before Council or to be represented by a person acting on their behalf and will be notified of the time and date of the hearing.
Following consideration of submissions, Council may resolve:
- Not to sell the land; or
- To sell the land to the adjoining landowner.
