Planning Fees and Levies
Statutory Planning fees are regulated by the Planning and Environment Act 1987 (the Act) and vary according to the classification of each application.

Development Contributions Plan Levy (DCP)
Development contributions are payments or in-kind works, facilities or services provided by developers towards the supply of infrastructure required to meet the future needs of the community.
The Development Contributions Plan Levy (DCP Levy) has 2 components:
- Development Infrastructure Levy – this levy needs to be paid prior to obtaining a Statement of Compliance for a subdivision. Different levies apply to different areas of the Shire. - Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) – this levy needs to be paid prior to obtaining a building permit for a dwelling.

The current levy amounts for New Dwellings for 2024/25 are shown in the table above. This levy does not apply to replacement dwellings or house extensions.
