Sporting Clubs and Recreation Facilities

Baw Baw Shire has a broad mixture of sporting and recreational facilities, which includes a balance between active and passive recreation.

Council provides the following recreation services to the community:

Hire a Recreation Reserve

Information on hiring a recreation reserve or hall and conditions of use.

Information on how to manage sports clubs, including risk management and tenancy agreements.

Committees, made up of dedicated community members, manage recreation facilities and public halls on behalf of Baw Baw Shire Council.

Gives an outline of the strategies and plans Council has initiated for recreation in the Shire along with quarterly newsletters.

Located in Civic Park, Warragul, the Baw Baw Shire Sporting Walk of Fame was created in 1999 in recognition of our region's champion athletes.
