St Paul’s Anglican Grammar School is an independent co-educational ELC to VCE school located at 150 Bowen Street, Warragul.

St Paul’s is a happy school, a place where students and staff care for one another and are grateful to be a part of this remarkable learning community. From humble beginnings in 1982, we have grown to be a school of approximately 1,500 students and 250 staff, becoming one of Australia’s leading regional schools.

Known for strong academic achievement and broad co-curricular offerings, St Paul’s embraces the importance of recognising each child as an individual. This is made possible by our ‘four schools in one’ approach, with a Junior School and Secondary School at each of our campuses in Warragul and Traralgon. In this way, each child can be known and catered for with a personalised approach by staff who know their students well.

Students and staff at St Paul’s consistently comment on the distinct sense of belonging that they feel here, together with a generosity of spirit. With personalised learning and pastoral care at the core of our purpose, we believe in the development of the whole person and equipping our students to live meaningful, purposeful lives as contributing members of modern society.

Educators must lead by example and I believe that the staff of St Paul’s do this well. For instance, if we want our students to be optimistic, diligent, compassionate and resilient then we must strive to display these attributes ourselves. We must be honest and whole-hearted in our dealings with people and genuinely care that our students become the best that they can be. In my experience, schools with teachers and leaders who exhibit these qualities form a special bond with their students, which leads to mutual respect, school pride and a unique sense of belonging.
