Gippsland Disability Advocacy

Gippsland Disability Advocacy Inc. (GDAI) is a non-profit organisation with full gift tax recipient status, funded by the Department of Social Services (DSS) and the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). We provide information, advocacy support, and referrals to specialist services across Gippsland's six regional LGAs.

Our individual advocacy empowers people with disabilities to assert their rights and achieve equal access. We offer various levels of support, from providing initial information to offering ongoing assistance and personal representation when requested. We prioritise the individual's autonomy and work closely with them to ensure their needs and preferences guide the advocacy process.
