Bawbaw Islamic Network Australia (BINAI)

BawBaw Islamic Network Australia Inc (BINAI) is a not-for-profit community organisation based in Warragul, Victoria, dedicated to serving the needs of Australian Muslims in the Baw Baw Shire and surrounding Gippsland region. Established to address the growing need for a dedicated place of worship, BINAI aims to foster a sense of unity, faith, and community among local Muslims and promote multicultural inclusion.

BINAI’s primary initiative is establishing a mosque and prayer space to accommodate five daily prayers, Jummah services, and other religious activities.

The organisation is also committed to supporting the broader community through educational programs, cultural events, and social initiatives.

With no mosque available within a 45km radius, BINAI seeks to fill this essential gap, creating a welcoming space for spiritual growth, community connection, and outreach.
