Council now accepting applications for Community Sponsorship

Round 2 of Baw Baw Shire Council’s 2021/22 Community Sponsorship program is now open for applications.

Sponsorship funding is available for community events delivered in Baw Baw Shire and for residents that are competing in or attending an event in which they will be representing Baw Baw Shire.

The program aims to encourage and assist individuals and groups that make positive contributions within our community or are ambassadors for our region.

Eligible community events may receive up to $5,000 in sponsorship funding. Individual Baw Baw Ambassadors must be a resident of Baw Baw Shire and may receive up to $500, while group or team Ambassadors must be based in Baw Baw Shire and may receive up to $1,500.

Applications for this round of sponsorship will be accepted until midday on Tuesday 29 November.

A third and final sponsorship funding round for this financial year will open from 7 March to 4 April.
