Mayoral Minute

Mayor McCabe shared a Mayoral Minute about Community Briefings, and the recently launched Meet the Mayor initiative, and the importance of community engagement. If you have already, reach out and find a group to be part of; the rewards are many.

Cr Gauci shared a personal statement at the end of the meeting. As this was not an item of business, there was no putting it to the vote, and there was no debate. Cr Gauci noted that his family had been placed under a lot of stress, and that the only way he could support his family, and stay true to his moral compass, was to inform Council that he would be resigning from Council at the conclusion of this meeting. Further information will be shared in the coming days.
