Planning and Development
PLA0195/20 - 77 Princes Highway, Yarragon
Council moved to issue Notice of Decision to Grant a Planning Permit for planning application PLA0195/20.
Community Infrastructure
Drouin, Yarragon and Trafalgar Parking Studies
Council noted the draft parking study reports for Drouin, Trafalgar and Yarragon, and moved to place the draft parking study reports on public exhibition for community feedback from 13 October 2022 to 11 November 2022.
Strategy and Organisational Performance
Community Development Grant Application Recommendations 22/23
Council approved the Community Development Grants Assessment Panel's recommendations as recorded.
Governance and Information Services
Response to General Business Motion - Exhibition Hall, Warragul
Council moved an alternation motion to;
- Note the report provided on the utilisation and future use of Exhibition Hall in response to general business motion raised on 24 August 2022;
- Adopt Option 1 to increase utilisation of the Exhibition Hall;
- Note that Council Officers will take steps to improve utilisation of the Exhibition Hall and;
- Refer any associated costs with such improvements to the budget process.
General Business Motion
Chief Executive Officer, Mark Dupe, tabled a general business motion to waive the planning application fee for the West Gippsland Healthcare Group for the establishment of a proposed Cancer Day Centre at Sargeant Street, Warragul. This motion was carried by Council.
