Baw Baw families can now begin preparing their little ones for the beginning of their kindergarten journey, with applications now open for three and four-year-old placement in 2024.

Enrolments can be completed using the quick and convenient online form for three-year-old kinder and four-year-old kinder enrolments for next year.

Families are also invited to complete an online Expression of Interest form for future placements for their child as early as 12 months. Once completed, you will be kept up to date with kinder information and be notified when the application process opens for your child’s enrolment year.

First round offers for applications received prior to 30 June will be sent out in August for four-year-old places, and in September for three-year-old places. Applications received after 30 June, will be processed with offers sent out after the first round offers are finalised.

Starting in May, Baw Baw’s kindergarten sites spanning from Longwarry to Erica and everywhere in between will hold free open days for families interested in touring kinders and learning more about what they have to offer. By attending an open day, families can see firsthand which kindergarten site best suits the needs of their child and can discuss any queries with the teaching staff. Click here to view the Open Day dates and times available at 17 kindergarten sites across Baw Baw Shire.
